Original “Mein Ahnen-Paß” (My Ancestry Pass), an officially endorsed genealogical document used in Nazi Germany to record and certify an individual’s ancestry (Abstammung). The Ahnenpass was used to compile officially certified genealogical records, often required to demonstrate so-called “Aryan descent” for employment, marriage approval, or party affiliation during the Third Reich.
