Description
Nazi-era enamel sign connected with the Reichsberufswettkampf (RBW) — the “Reich Vocational Competition, ” a national contest organized in the 1930s and early 1940s by the German Labor Front (DAF) and related youth organizations. Translates to “Through the Reich Vocational Competition to maximum performance.” The Reichsberufswettkampf was an annual nationwide skills competition for apprentices, students, and young workers. It was designed both as a technical competition and as propaganda to promote ideological conformity and “productivity” within the regime’s labor structure. Great centerpiece for a HJ Reichsberufswettkampf badge collector. Measures about 19.5 inches x 13 inches. Vaulted design.
