Description
Original German World War II DLV Luftwaffe desk standard (table banner), featuring a finely embroidered emblem of the Luftwaffe—a stylized winged insignia with central swastika—set against a blue field with red roundel background.The banner is constructed of quality fabric with gold-colored trim and is suspended from a horizontal bar, mounted on a vertical metal staff. The staff is topped with a decorative finial in the form of a swastika, and anchored to a weighted, fluted metal base, allowing it to stand as a display piece on a desk or table. The back of the flag is signed Goering, likely done by the vet that brought it back to the US.
