Description
NSDAP Blood Stained Silk Velvet Tapestry Banner – Veteran Bring Back 58 inches x 39 inches. Very special banner made from a rarely seen high end fabric. It’s in good condition with several blood stains. It appears that it was folded while the blood was still wet, or it was bled on after it was already folded based on the pattern of the blood spots. This was sold to us by a man in Texas whose father was doing some hired house work for a family back in the 1970’s. There was a box with this banner, some flags, badges, medals, and a photo album that was being thrown out and the owner of the home told the man he could take anything from the box that he wanted. Interestingly, the photo album likely belonged to Hitler himself as there were many early 1930’s unpublished Hoffmann taken personal photographs of Hitler himself with Geli Raubal, Henrietta Hoffmann (daughter of Heinrich Hoffmann), Hermann Esser, Wilhelm Bruckner, Lotte Muller, Friedrich Weber, Hermann Kriebel, Julius Schaub, Julius Schneck, among others. We have no information of who brought these items back to the US unfortunately.
