Original Third Reich Period Life Size Bronze Bust Of Frederick The Great. Sculptor Cuno von Uechtritz-Steinkirch (1856 – 1908) – a life-size bronze portrait of Frederick II Heavy hollow cast bronze, brown patina. Bust of Frederick the Great with tricorn hat and ponytail. Signed “v. Uechtritz” on the side, “Lauchhammer Bildguss” foundry stamp and number “24” on the reverse. Signs of use and age. Height 37 cm, weight ca. 15 kg. Realistic portrayal of the king in his later years, adequately reflecting his royal dignity. Cuno von Uechtritz-Steinkirch, Berlin-based sculptor since 1887, professor since 1899, created the Moltke monument in Breslau, the statue of Elector Georg Wilhelm in the Siegesallee/Berlin, and the Bismarck monument. ]Total height is about 16 inches.
